New Compass Points video is up, and this week we talk about three day hikes around Phoenix, Ariz. What amazes me is how Phoenix is one of the largest cities in North America with about 1.5 million people, it covers an enormous portion of central Arizona, and yet with just a few short strides, you can find yourself alone in the Sonoran Desert as if you’ve been hiking for days without a sign of urbanism or suburban sprawl.
